We just purchased a BG charter with 8k points 2 days ago and now I’m wondering if I made a mistake and should get out of it?? I’m hoping someone can give me some pros and cons on this!
Thank you in advance.

If you are having doubts - please rescind.
Follow the directions on your paperwork.
Almost all states require that you send in a written statement via USPS with tracking, signature not required and keep the proof of mailing until you get your refund.

it is almost certain that you paid too much for 8K points that can barely get you 3-4 days in a one to two bedroom unit.
You can rent for less than your yearly cost.

There is information at the top of the Bluegreen forum on how to rescind

You can always buy again but if youre posting this you should rescind. AND buy resale from marketplace or free giveaways. IMO charter benefits arent worth it unless you have a resort nearby for day use. Plus if you buy resale you can usually make a developer purchase later on to gain full benefits. follow instructions in paper work to rescind your contract asap.

Rescind. There is a lot to learn about timesharing before spending big bucks. The offer will always be there. And you can probably get a better deal for less money by not purchasing through the developer. But the clock is ticking on the rescission period.
