Has anyone stayed here? I just booked it for Feb 20 on a Bluegreen Sampler promotion I bought. It is near the airport which is good. I just stayed at Wyndham Seawatch and the cab fare from the airport was $43, Uber return trip was $38. I don't drive and so use uber and cabs a lot. I don't know if there is public transit there. While there I went to the Carolina Opry Christmas show and it was outstanding! Also ate at Margaritaville, overpriced on both food and drinks, the Coconut shrimp entree was delicious, but skimpy on the shrimp (5). I would appreciate any info on nearby shopping/restaurants, etc. Thanks.

I was at Seaglass in May. I drove so I can't help with transport from the airport. Three restaurants I would return to are ART Burger Sushi Bar (excellent burgers, didn't try the sushi); Villa Romana Italian Restaurant (had dinner there twice, excellent, authentic dinners, they also make a very good pizza); Black Thai (very good if you like that type of food). All are easy walks from the Seaglass building. Also recommended to me, but I ran out of days, is Cafe Old Vienna.

Thank you so much for the dining options, they all sound great and walking is no problem.

We stayed here several years ago in a one bedroom oceanfront. Found it smallish but manageable. Great view. There is a pancake house directly across the street. Also the restaurant on the Pier was very good. Short walk along the boardwalk to many 'items of interest'.

Is this that tall glass building on the water front?

We are currently at The Yachtsman, next to SeaGlass in downtown Myrtle Beach. We got it through RCI during one of their $209 sales. From the outside SeaGlass is a nice looking building. Can't speak about the rooms. Either way, it's on the beach, next to the boardwalk. A lot of things to see and do. We were in North Myrtle Beach at Wyndham Westwinds and Wyndham Ocean Blvd. since December 15th. We liked it there, but are pleasantly surprised about this location and the area's activities and things to do. Checkout the Sky Wheel...

On another note, it appears The Yachtsman was updated and upgraded recently. The buildings were painted and look very nice along with the rooms. New appliances, furniture, carpets, sliding doors, etc. All units are oceanfront. We'd come back here in a heartbeat. We are here until 01/16/2016.

Please remember to buy resale if you like BG. You can get plenty of help here and on facebook when it comes time to make a decision. Many, many peeps give away their ownership and even pay the transfer fees.

Write down what they tell you and offer you but don't buy there. If in the end you decide you want to buy from them or their re-sale arm, Pinnacle, you will be able to get the same deal later.

Not to worry, all my timeshares are re-sale. They do talk your head off though don't they. Thank you for your concern and keep warning people not to buy developer. :)

There is a little pub beachfront that we visited several times, just across the boardwalk, you can see it from resort. I don't recall the food but greatly enjoyed the staff and pool table.

Definitely smallish rooms but nice, lovely floor to ceiling windows. Indoor pool/hot tub very very small, we were there on a Thanksgiving weekend so way too busy for us to want to attempt to use with so many kids.

We drove, sorry no info on airport transfer. A note on safety, however, because it has been mentioned previously - there is security and they do walk around the parking lots and grounds.

We loved the views as well. Great floor to ceiling windows right next to bed. We are booked there for March. Heard they did a total renovation since last time we were there. Only bad is I understand they took out the in room Jacuzzi tubs, which I am a fan of.
The pier is close by with a restaurant, as is a giant ferris wheel that they were building last time we were there. I don't remember any specific restaurants, other than the pier which we enjoyed -but seem to remember quite a few close by.
