Received a call today from a person named Brad, he left a message indicating he works for Blue Bay Advisors who sell time shares, no up-front fee and they receive 6% from the sale only. Anyone had any experience with them? Are they legit?

After you agree, they will contact you a few days later, claiming to have a buyer. All they need is XXX amount of money for the title search, etc. You pay for that, and then poof, they are gone. No real buyer.

lets face it, 6% commision on a timeshare that sells for 1,000 is $60. Why would a company even bother to contact you for $60?

Great, thanks for the heads-up.

I got a call too from this outfit. They said they wanted to assist me with selling my timeshare. I asked, "Which one?" as I have several listed. He mumbled something about "any timeshare you have" and I told him if he was so uninformed and didn't know what I was even selling how could he be any good at this, knowing full well he was a scammer since that is the line they always use. Then I hung up!:D :D

I use the same tactic but I give them my business number to have them call me back. I am retired from Law Enforcement so I send him to a friend of mine at the State Attorney Generals Fraud Office. I hope someone down their owns a timeshare to talk with this gentlemen....lol :hysterical:
