You could have set up a new account under a different email. Though you would have lost all your watch history.

We signed up for the Peacock annual promotion at $19.99/year. Did the same last year and cancelled it right before renewal. We are now just watching to see if Hulu does a deal. The problem with Hulu is you can't use their black Friday deals on an account that has had Hulu in the last year. So we have to alternate between two accounts each year.

Disney+ can easily be added to Hulu as an add on for just a few dollars. Getting the Hulu deal will be the key. I think last year they offered it starting on Black Friday and through Cyber Monday.
