Has anyone ever rented bikes for a week at or near WKORV? I understand the resort has bike racks where they can be locked-up.

Anyone know if you can bike on the boardwalk? What is it like to bike on the road into Lahaina? Funny, having been their a few times I don't remember seeing many bikes at or near WKORV.

I would not be comfortable riding a bike on Hwy. 30 - it's narrow and traffic can be fast. Did know that the Westin has a free shuttle to Lahaina?

I don't think you can ride bikes on the beach path - it's not very wide.

Frankly, this area is not great for bikes.

I have friends who brought bikes with them (they have boxes for them for the airline). They were training for a race, so every day they biked at least 40 miles, some days more. While it's a beautiful place, biking on the roads is not for the inexperienced. They did think it was one of the best views for training...
