This snow storm is supposed to pack a punch! The weather guessers keep increasing the amount of snow they expect we will get. Last I heard, one foot of the white stuff in Denver.

Glad I don't have to drive 45 minutes to work anymore. On a fair weather day it was 45 minutes. Snowy days, my commute was more like 90 minutes. I hated snow back then. Now I just crank up the 87% efficient gas fireplace and spend more time on TUG, RCI and II. Oh, and then there is Amazon. Rick loves it when I am on Amazon (and eBay).

Enjoy! Snow always looks better when you are inside and have a cup of hot chocolate in hand. We are supposed to get whatever you leave for us sometime this weekend.

Our local weather guy was blaming your storm for the bit of rain and very cold (for this time of year) weather we're going to get for the weekend. Still better than snow.

It's sunny and 84° here next to Las Vegas. But, it's going to cool down to 70° tomorrow with windy, but still sunny conditions. Should be back to 80° by the weekend. Love it!:)

we are experiencing the kind of weather that brings folks to Florida...highs in the 80's lows in the 60's, no rain

Tha's nothing! It was 78 in Denver yesterday, and the predicted high for tomorrow is 32! (and a low of 24)

I'm actually recovering from a sunburn I got on Sunday here, so it is a good possibility I will be shoveling snow while my nose is peeling from the sunburn. That's crazy!

Overcast, damp, low forties here. Transition weather is not my favorite. Waiting for that first good snowstorm, but it is probably five to seven weeks away.

Snow, what is that?, In a bad year, we will receive an inch. Stay warm and safe.

We got down to the 30's for the first time since Spring last night. Back up to the 50's today - normal for October in WA. I think the snow level dropped in the mtns, but didn't see any white stuff on the tops yet. (of the ones that aren't year round snow... LOL)

Light rain in Denver now, turning to snow overnight. Then the sun comes out and starts to melt it all. 46 degrees Thursday, 57 Friday, 68 Saturday. It won't take long and it will all be gone.

'Tis a privilege to live in Colorado!!

Today was a picture-perfect Autumn day in Kentucky. Bright blue skies, puffy white clouds, fall colors everywhere and 72 degrees. Enjoyed a HS soccer game tonight with my kids - life is good!

Great day in Chicago!

We had a beautiful, Indian summer type of day with a high of 74. :)

I know that won't last we are heading into highs in the 50's and low's in the 30's

Beautiful day here in Deerfield Beach, FL, but we are keeping eye on Hurricane Rina sometime this weekend according to the weather gurus. Hope she dies a fast death in the Caribbean sea. Its been exactly 6 years since we dealt with Wilma.:ignore:

Here is a picture of my backyard this morning (and no, those are not Weeping Willows! ). Walking through the backyrad, we had about 8-10 inches on the ground, and it is still snowing this morning. Lots of broken branches, especially on larger trees. Luckily, my trees are young so I didn't have too much damage, just some bent branches which should recover.

It is predicted to be in the 60's by Saturday, so this will not last long.

It's 47 and raining today, I put the heat on for the first time. It's supposed to stay cold and drizzly for the next couple days with maybe some sleet or snow mixed in. I have teacher friends in Vermont and northern New Hampshire who are praying for a snow day - way too early for that!

In the 40s today and it will be dropping.

Snow expected tomorrow. A couple of inches on the hills, less in the valleys.

Won't last long, but winter is coming.
