We purchased a Magellan GPS about 5 months ago from Costco using our American Express card. The GPS stopped working and when I disconnected the attached cord to send it back to Magellan the connector pin fell inside the unit. I sent the unit back because it is covered for a year. After spending $10.00 to send it back, we were told that the LCD display is damaged caused by physical damage to the unit and they are not repairing it. We did nothing to cause any damage. Any similar experiences or suggestions. I do not know what damage to the LCD display means because the screen is not cracked and appears fine. We will call in the morning but I can't believe they are claiming we damaged the unit.

Just take it back to Costco. :)
