This may be a reaction by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism to the news 2 days ago that the CDC raised the travel advisory for the Bahamas to a level 4, which means a recommendation against all travel there by US citizens.

CDC raised nearly every country as level 4. It’s safer in the Bahamas than NYC.
