Hi - seeking some guidance / advise on best location and unit choice (location at resort) for family of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids). Considering Ocean Tower and Kingsland. Thank you

I like the Kingsland phase 1 two bedroom units. Close to the super pool, and the cheapest points units are ground floor, which is better anyway imo. Easy access out the back patio to the bbq grills, lawns, etc.

You could get the villa a Bay Club. They are huge and less points than other similar units
We stayed there a year or two ago and loved it. Units are very spacious, the shuttle works well and we could walk to the Hilton Hotel (the Asian artwork is a must see

We also liked it that you have your own car port, right at your door, because we drove a lot. The upstairs villa units are nice with the higher ceilings and good lighting.

Kohala has free parking (even at the main resort, jsut need get validation of the parking ticket) and free use of all the pools. You have to get a wristband, but not a huge issue.

That said, I'm thinking maybe Bay Club would be nice if you are getting two units (one at Kohala and one at Bay Club).

Thank you for feedback and great ideas - may get two units at different locations for the experience. Any way to reduce or avoid the parking fees at the Village?

There are no parking fees at KL, Bay Club, or Kohala. Only at the Hilton and Ocean Tower.

If you stay at Kohala its free to visit (park) at the Village. Not sure on the others.

As HuskerATL says some resorts don't have fees at their location.

Same is true of KL, but not Bay Club.

Cheers.

But you can take the free shuttle from all three to the Hilton

Last Jan/Feb we spent 3 weeks at the Bay Club. Bldg 1, 2nd floor Unit. Lanai facing the Golf Course. Loved the Unit and it's location. Walked every where - Kings, Queens, etc. Remember to walk the Petroglyph Trail.

Villa at Bay Club for room size - Kings for the kids. Avoid Ocean Tower.
