bicycles at Coba

I'm planning a trip to the Mayan ruins with my family this April and one of the things that interested us was the bicycle rentals at Coba. Has anyone ever used them, how much were they, did they have any that a 8 year old could ride? Would you recommend them?

My husband and I are in our 50's, in "fairly" good shape, but not regular bicyclists. We rented them at Coba a year ago, and it was a great day, one of our favorites. I don't remember the cost, but it was inexpensive. They aren't the best of bikes, either, but they did the job.
