I am purchasing a 10k bi-annual contract from a private seller sending all the PPW in this week. Wondering how long does BG normally take for them to decide to use there ROFR? Also how will we know if they do, or let the sale go through. We are
Not current BG owners.

Thanks

I think they may have up to 60 days and usually let you know sometime after 30 days. I am making my 3rd attempt. I think it's been about 45 days. The closing agent was on vacation last week and will be back tomorrow so hopefully I will find out soon. If doing it through a private sale, then they should let the owner know if they are exercising ROFR.

Third attempt? Where are you purchasing contracts and what are they if they are getting denied?

Edit: they told the seller 30 business days to make a decision. Then 7-10 days contact with a closing agent.

Just curious.

I’ve purchased close to a dozen with a similar result from eBay.

I am trying for Lodge Alley or Boyne. I did get in touch with the closing agent who insisted that Bluegreen has 60 days and has been taking the full time to waive or exercise rofr.

What are you paying for these contracts? Are you pulling the 1.00 a 250 for 20k points?

I think we are paying 1500

What are you paying for Lodge Alley? We are looking there also, seeing some odd prices. 5500? Seams out of line for BG points.

I am offering around $0.10 per point give or take and looking for around 8,000-10,000 per year. I think the one I am waiting on now is an EOY 21,000 and the all in offer was $2400 which included the 2022 points (half of which will be restricted by the time I get them) if it passes rofr.

Could you let me know how that goes. We have a EOY Even 10k paying 1500. I think it’s a bit high, but it’s a loaded contract. trust fund D. So it has a bit lower MF.
