Remember that great offer from RCI for Le Blanc Spa Resort - no 1 resort in Cacun - we talked about on this forum? Well, we made a 2 weeks reservation for our anniversary with Le Blanc Spa Resort 6 months ago through RCI and paid everything in advance. Now this so called no 1 resort is trying to move us to another resort because duringThanksgiving - which is the day of our anniversary! - they want to give our already paid room to members of a group who of course paid more! Very bad quality control. Thumbs down. So here I am sitting with my confirmations, vouchers, everything paid, spending half a day on the phone, disconnected all the time, transferred all the time, waiting all the time, spending more euro's than I can think off on my phone bill, a beautiful day ruined and possibly our anniversary ruined. Only one employee made apologies and was helpfull. The phone service and the qualtiy control is certainly not a five star resort worth! What is this no 1 resort thinking? Are they in so desperate need of money that they prefer a bit more money and are willing to destroy their no1 position? How sad! I made a review already and will publish more when I get there. I won't let them send me away. So beware to all honeymooners and people who are celebrating ... I have contacted the general manager Andreas Schmidt. We will see what he thinks of it.
