Just wondering which winery tours would be the best in San Fransico? I looked on line and there are sooo many (from train, bus, limo) different kinds of tours. There will only be two of us and we will be there for four days over Easter. I think we would be interested in the Napa Valley area.

You would be better off not doing a tour and renting a car to drive it yourself, as long as you have a designated driver. You can get to places that a bus just can't get to because of parking issues. Personally, (Now I know I am a little biased here) I think you would have a better time in the Sonoma area. Traffic in Napa getting from winery to winery is awful!!! Here is a map of wineries in Sonoma http://www.sonoma.com/visitorsinfo/Sonoma_County_Winery_Map.pdf

Some of my favorites are in Dry Creek Valley (Healdsburg) http://www.wdcv.com/index.php?option=com_wineries&Itemid=34 A must stop is Bella Vineyards.

Rent a car a drive 65 miles north on 101 to Healdsburg. There are some awesome wineries here and some wonderful places to shop and eat around the plaza. Stop at the chamber of commerce, get a wine road map and enjoy your day!
