Best Week to Book in Maui (MM1) for Trading

I own an annual two bedroom in MM1. As the new year turns I am beginning to wonder what I should with my 2010 week - at this point I am not sure what we want to do in 2010.

What is the best week to book in terms of trading power if I later want to trade my 2010 week?

I cannot travel from Jan-Mar due to work restrictions. If I book a Jan week (when I cannot travel) how easy is it to trade for a week at MM1 later in the year (if that's eventually what we decide to do)?

I appreciate any insight anyone can provide.

Thanks!

2010 Demand by Week

Thanks, Terry.

That was very useful information. Based on that information I created a calendar that shows Demand by Week for MM1. It ranks demand from 1 to 12; 1 representing the highest demand. The demand is for Hawaii units in general; not specific to MM1. I hope someone finds it useful.

That chart is great, but I have a feeling that the week 5 is a mistake, I think it is meant to be week 7, President's week, unless people know some other reason. It just seems out of place.

Could it be that week 5 is the week of the Pro Bowl in Hawaii?

This year week 5 starts Super Bowl week in Tampa(I think the game is 2/1/09).

So I think week 6 or 7 might be the Pro Bowl.
