Best way for great results Using RCI with our HICV account in advance for a 2 week vacation

Some HICV point owners use RCI, looking for tips for best results thru our system to book a couple weeks at a couple Islands in Hawaii.

Looking at booking a couple weeks in May of 2021 in Hawaii. I'm a points owner so it could be weeks or point stays.

Any help would be appreciated, I've never used the RCI side yet.

The way I do it is to search an exchange for the island that I would like to visit, add the date range for your travel, and save it as a favorite search. Every time you log into RCI you can run that search from RCI's home page and see what shows up. However, a better way would be to setup an ongoing search and be specific in your request. You can search the resort directory and specify the properties that you would like on the ongoing search.

Hilton probably has the nicest rci Hawaii timeshares. They do bulk deposit and it is often fairly early. The deposit both weeks and points. You can set up an ongoing search for weeks inventory but you still need to manually search for points inventory. I am sure someone will post on the sightings forum. Diamond has a resort on Maui. I am sure there are some other nice ones.
