We are starting to plan our family vacation for 2026. What are the best resorts with 3 BRs? We have been in the 3BRs in Crystal Shores, Frenchmen's and the Ritz in St Thomas. All were very nice. How are the 3BRs in Monarch? are there many 3 BR units and/or are they impossible to get in high-season? I know Surfwatch has them, as well. Thanks for any info...

The 3 in Spain and 1 in France all have 3-beds. I wouldn't go to any of them between early July and the 1st week of Sept as it is too hot and too busy. April to end June and 2nd week in Sept to mid/late Oct are pleasant times to go.
If you can go outside of those times then it is much nicer and you stand a better chance of getting a 3-bed, either via II or Abound.
If booking via Abound, don't be surprised if you don't see inventory at the 13 or 12 month mark, there's no inventory held permanently in the Club points trust so availability depends on when people elect their weeks. Put in a wait list as soon as you can to get a good chance of a match.
If booking via II, then put in your request as soon as you can, and if you are looking to go end Oct to mid March, II getaways will be better value than using an exchange.

You won't find better than the RCC St Thomas (but you probably already knew that). Surfwatch is wonderful and I would choose that over Monarch...though we've only stayed in a 2BR.

We also have very much enjoyed our stays at the Imperial Palms in Orlando (all 3BRs)...but those trips were all about visiting WDW and we didn't use the resort facilities aside from an occasional dip in the pool. But the villas themselves are really nice.

Monarch only has one 3-bedroom unit, so it's impossible to get high season though I've seen it available during the winter. As noted, Surfwatch is really nice. Ocean Pointe on Singer Island also has some.

Grand Residence Lake Tahoe
Timber Lodge
Crystal Shores
Grande Vista
Imperial Palms
Lakeshore Reserve
Ocean Pointe

The Aruba Surf Club 3 BR's are huge and really nice, but there are only 20 so hard to get, especially during prime time. They command a high rental during any prime week, and there are none in the Trust.

The St Kitts Beach Club 3BR units are on the top floor at one end of each building with huge terraces.

So are there timeshare units in the main hotel building? We were just there and I was trying to figure out which buildings contained timeshare units and which contained hotel rooms. I thought the houses (those in your photo on the right) were timeshare and all the rest was hotel? Is that not correct?

Only the color coded buildings on the right are timeshares.

As Fasttr’s site plan shows, there are just the 88 MVC units at the resort in the 8 colour coded buildings.
Originally, they were also hotel buildings, but they were completely redesigned to provide 10x 2 Bed and 1x 3 Bed in each building.

Thanks. That is what I thought. Your photo confused me as I thought it might have been taken from one of the 3BR units.

The photo is from very high up in the main hotel building.

Timber Lodge in Lake Tahoe has only 14 3BR villas. I'm not sure how difficult it is to get those units. Monarch on HHi has only one 3 BR as someone has mentioned so SW is the only other Marriott on HHI with 3 BR's. I am not sure how many of those are in the Trust. I would guess it is not very many. The unit is large and 10 people can stay there without being in each other's space. It will accommodate 12. Good luck in finding a spot for your family reunion. We have had 2 family reunions at SW in the last 6 years and everyone always has a great time.
