Good luck, it’s worth $0 on the resale market. You might be able to give it away. Maybe.

I agree it’s a great resort though.
I think Marriott is still taking it as a deed back.

My wife and I own week 52 at Sheraton Vistana in Orlando. We stayed there once, and used it most years to trade all over the Caribbean and into Marriott hotels. Great trader, and great home resort close to Disney - and it's part of Marriott. We will probably sell it soon, as our kids have grown.... write to me if interested.
Sheraton Vistana wouldn’t trade into DVC though, as it’s in Orlando…

I can see VVW going the same way as OL on Cocoa beach and once they get too popular as traders they'll have their trading power pruned back to something more realistic. At least with the 4-bed lock-off you'll have a decent amount of head-room on trading power and the resort seems to get decent reviews too, so it could be a good trader for a long time.
Vacation Village Williamsburg is getting all the attention in this thread, but IMHO VV The Colonies (CWQ) in Williamsburg is a slightly better trader. They trade for about the same power, but at times the Colonies will trade better in RCI (I only mention RCI because it is a dual trader, and trading power is not the black box with them that it is with II.)

With CWQ both of your lockoff units have a full kitchen where one of the sides at VVW has a partial kitchen.

I traded one of my CWQ 2BR sides sides (week 30) this year to stay at DCV Old Key West the week before Easter.

The first rule of tiger traders is that we don't talk about tiger traders.... ;)
I think secrecy around tiger traders is more of a thing with RCI. At least that is my take from reading the forums over the years. Best MF/TPU or MF per RCI point. People don't like sharing what they know. Given that II is more opaque, people seem to be more willing to share decent traders. That said I never knew about Ocean Landing in Cocoa Beach or Hyatt Points being good II traders until a couple years ago.

I think people on TUG that like to game things spend more time trying to crack the code of II trading value.

I have had some good discussions on TUG about good traders in RCI weeks, and it all is pretty much an open book for anyone wanting to research it.

It is easy to get on TUG2.com or Redweek and other sites to find out how much maintenance fees are. Anyone with an RCI weeks account can go to the deposit calculator page and see how many TPUs any week at any resort will yield.

I know some people keep secrets, and I don’t blame them even if that is not my style.
