Marriott's Grande Vista has a Nick Faldo course wrapping around it. Orange Lake Country Club has, I think, four courses through and around the resort grounds, a couple of them were Arnold Palmer designed.

Our course of choice, for an overall fun time, is Remington in Kissimmee. All you can eat, all you can practice, and all you can play for one fee. Discounts can be found.

Get a mid-morning tee time. Show up for breakfast a couple hours early. After breakfast, grab a soda and go to the aqua range and loosen up~~~hit, chip and putt. Play the front 9 and stop in the clubhouse to get a big hotdog and refill your soda. Play the back 9.

If you are done with the back 9 before 3:00, eat lunch. Then go back out and play another 9, or go down the road to Kissimmee Bay, the sister course, and play there if Remington is busy.

To do that you can stay at any resort.

I just happen to have a Remington email which arrived yesterday. Email me if you want me to forward it to you.

For other Orlando discount golf, go to www.efloridagolf.com and click on Specials~Florida.

Actually, I just clicked on Stay and Play on the Remington email that just arrived and it is with Oak Plantation Resort, an II resort.
