I currently use a no fee Bank of America rewards card that gives 3% cash back, Wondering if there is something better.

On the same topic, I'm looking for a low fee credit card with a substantial signing bonus, a Capital One venture card costs $95, has 60,000 points and I think gives 2% on travel with MF's falling under travel. Again wondering if there is something better.

It depends on what you own. If you own Vistana or Marriott, then a Bonvoy cc gives 6 points for MF. The cheapest card costs $95 per year but you get a free 35K points night with it.

This is what both DW and I have. It's been quite a while since you could find a night of any Marriott brand for $95. And I do use one to pay the MFs.

I'd never heard of a Bank of America rewards card that gives 3% cash back -- If that's the Customized Cash Rewards. it requires quarterly choosing of a category, and doesn't apply to all purchases. Is there another one?

The best I've seen for no-fuss cash back is the Fidelity Visa (2%), and whatever that one is that gives 1% when you buy and 1% when you pay. Capital One maybe?

There's a list online of nine cards that give 3%, but they all pertain to certain categories.

BOA Premium rewards card is a $95 per year. Its base cash rewards is 2 points/cents for every $1 on travel and dining, 1.5 points/cents for every $1 for all other purchases. It has a multiplier depending on whether you have a brokerage account, wealth management or certain amount of money in BOA. For instance if you have $100K in BOA banking accounts, you get a 75% multiplier, so you earn 3.5 points per $1 on travel and dining, 2.625 points for other spendings. If you drop it to $50K, then the multiplier drops to 50%, making it 3 points and 2.25 points respectively.

You get $100 back in airline incidental charges per year, Global Entry etc.

The B of A card is the cash rewards card that gives 3% on up to $2,500 per quarter and it does require selecting the travel category to receive. The choice however is "sticky" and remains from quarter to quarter unless changed. My issue is that the $2,500 per quarter is not sufficient , it just suffices for MFs but no other travel expenditures. The 1% card when you buy and 1% when paid on all purchases is a Citi card.
