I am interested in exchanging into one of the Marriotts near Disney World next summer, but I'm not sure which one I should ask for. (looking for 2 bedroom)

I know that Cypress Harbor and Grande Vista are a little further away from Disney that the resorts at the Marriott World Center area, but I don't know anything about the sizes of the various villas, or if some are not as well kept as others.

We won't be going to Disney every day, so pool, gym, and other amenities are important to us.

If you have a favorite, could you also recommend a building/room/floor to request.

Thanks for any info or suggestions.

I have stayed at Grand Vista and Sable Palms on several exchanges. I prefer Sable Palms. I have used my AC's from my Aruba weeks to book two (2) 2BR Villas and used a studio unit to secure a third 2BR unit for Dec. 7-14. I am taking my sons and their families down to Disney to see there Xmas show/parade (again). I like Sable because of the short walk to the World Center, Disney and other area attractions. Great time to be at Disney especially with the grand kids.

I've stayed at Cypress Harbour, Grande Vista, Royal Palms, and two Disney timeshares. I prefer Cypress Harbour over all of them. The units are nice, the grounds are wonderful, and the resort has a ton of activities.

We have only stayed at Grand Vista and Cypress Harbour. I would definately choose Cypress Harbour although Grand Vista is very nice. Debby

We recently stayed at Grande Vista in a 3 bedroom. While the room was nice we encountered the following during our stay:
-After being checked in for an hour and unpacked a bellman knocked on our door with another tired family that was assigned our room. It was awkward and the bellman hung out outside the door with the family rather than immediately apologizing and taking the family back to the front desk. I stayed on hold for awhile trying to call the front desk to let them know what happened.

-room keys deactivated not once but twice and someone had to drive over to get new keys.

-This one is weird, and perhaps not the fault of the hotel, but after we had our tidy service, apparently when the maid left the inner door security lock swung over and we were locked out of our room upon return from the parks. We had to call the front desk and the bellman came and helped us with some kind of tool to open the door......

-Two roach sitings, one where a roach landed on my 14 year olds head while she showered.......This was the most disturbing. I know that roach control is difficult in Florida but for a young girl from Wyoming where roaches are rare if non-existent, it was traumitizing. I was embarassed as the "host" of the vacation.

-the jetted tub when used issued black stuff......

I don't want to bum anyone out who has a trip booked as these things will probably not happen again but I thought I would mention them.

The Grande Vista is very large and I understand the other properties are smaller.....that might be a nicer feature.

Lastly, none of the properties are really very far away from Disney. I was concerned that it would take a long time to get to a from the parks but it really was not that long...maybe 15-20 minutes and it went fast.

I hope this helps.
