Best Marriott for New Orleans?

Big Bear, Hyatt Vacation Club (Hyatt Highlands), Marriott (Grand Chateau)
Can anyone recommend the best marriott to stay in for a 1st time visit to New Orleans? Would like to be within walking distance to french quarter and most sights.

Wyndham VIPF & PresRes, HVC/DRI (Gold), Quarter House (4), Resort on Cocoa Beach (2), HGVC Tuscany Village, HGVC South Beach-McAlpin, HGVC Parc Soleil
Either the JW Marriott or New Orleans Marriott would meet your requirement. Both are on Canal St., adjacent to the French Quarter. JW Marriott is across Canal St. from the French Quarter.
