Based on my limited experience I have all my auctions scheduled to end on Sunday evenings. JMHO.

Hmmm---I don't know about selling on Ebay. But I have bought a few things.

I live on the East Coast---so 9pm Pacific seems like too late for my blood----I'm not awake at midnight!!
(zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) LOL

I haven't used eBay for timeshare sales, but I a couple of rentals on eBay annually. I use a 10-day auction, timed so that it covers two weekends. That means it will end on either Sunday or Monday. I usually prefer Monday, because that gives me a better chance of being able to get some of those last minute question answered that might involve talking to someone at the resort. Sometimes the people who have the answers aren't available on weekends.

I usually end auctions about 7 pm Pacific Time. I figure that ensures that the maximum number of people will be home to bid at the last minute.

I start on Thursday and end on Sunday evening

I like to start on Thursday and end on Sunday evening. I also do an assessment of where I think the buyers that are attracted to the unit are likely to come from. E.g. if it is a California or Cabo property I try to get it to end about 8:45 on Sunday PST but earlier if it is a Florida property to accommodate east coast folks. Also, try to end at either 15 after the hour or 45 minutes after the hour to best maximize sniper traffic. If you end straight up on the hour so many snipers may be trying to get through to other auctions that it jams the circuits (hey that did happen to me once and I lost an auction as a bidder that ended on the hour because the sniper could not get through to place my bid!)

Clarification - I like a ten day auction.

I wanted to make clear that by starting on Thursday and ending on Sunday I was talking about a ten day auction, not a three day auction!
