Hi everyone, in case I intend to rent out a WLR week, should i book a week that starts Friday, Saturday or Sunday (the only options)?

I am thinking that the most popular should be Sat. At the same time, there are more listings for this check in day (so more competition) and the flights are (usually) more expensive than Sun-Sun or Fri-Fri .

I've always used Saturday. Especially troublesome on the holiday weekends....but it seems to work.

It kind of depends on things like events, location and time of year. For weekend events, many people like to be checked in before Friday so a Wednesday check in works well. For trips that involve flights, the airfare and crowds are often less mid-week.

While Wednesday is good it might be that many timeshares are only available for weekend check ins.

it is for WLR so involves flight, and the only options are Fri, Sat or Sun check in. I edited the OP to make it clear

Different strokes for different folks, but for the majority, the original plan of Sat-Sat works best. The occasional Fri that we got over the last 30 years made things slightly more complicated, but not all that much. Once, when we had a Fri checkin the second week, it gave our guests a night for themselves.

And, if you're flying to your destination, you gotta go when the plane does, and that has meant a priceline or hotwire hotel room a time or two (but not any more).
