Best Buy is Selling the iPhone6 and 6S for $1 for 3 Days

Negatives:

- 16gb unit only, it appears, which likely means you'll have storage issues and associated extra costs
- two year contracts are horrible unless you are absolutely certain you won't want to switch or care if the service fees lower but you can't get the new lower rate without signing another two year contract (or buy out the existing one)

Ignore the marketing gimmicks. Buy a phone you like and the service you like, and it will work out in the long run much better for you. IMHO. YMMV. FWIW. Have fun.

Totally agree. They increase the monthly service to recoupe the cost of the phone. In most cases, you end up paying more that way. Find the best deal on the phone through eBay or a local carrier and negotiate the monthly service plan after that. If you buy a phone from Tmobile or AT&T, they will tell you straight up how much the phone is and divide that cost by 24 months and add it to you service plan. Verizon might have that deal too, but don't be fooled and think you are getting a phone for $1.

My first thought was just 3 days - how much to just keep it until I'm ready to upgrade... ;)
