I was wondering if I should confirm a 1 bedroom at St George's Club in Bermuda for Dec 27. I have two young children, ages 4 and 7. What is the weather like, are beaches nearby, and is there enough to do for my family at that time of year? How difficult is it getting around with two young kids?

Any opinions about the St. George's Club are also welcome.

Thank you!

I had been considering Bermuda for a vacation with my family, and considered this resort. It has limited amenitites and gets mixed reviews on tripadvisor.com - in my case I figured a cruise to Bermuda would be more enjoyable for me with kids. However, if you just want a homebase while you travel around than it should be sufficient.

I have been to Bermuda in Oct. and Nov. and the weather has been so different. Bermuda does not vary that much from the Northeast except that it doesn't get real cold. IMO I think you would be chancing it in Dec. I can't imagine you woud be able to enjoy the beaches. BUT,
Bermuda is beautiful so if you want a family vacation with time together bring heavy sweaters and enjoy.
