Now that we decided not to travel to The Bay Club 2020, we are going to add to the Club. We just realized that having additional options as well as banking would be a better option long term. I’m sad that now I have to giveaway a TS or 2 because we will have over 12000 pts EOY w/ Hilton alone.

For those of us who like to roam, best not to have too many eggs in one basket.

I feel your pain. Because we bought our new Boulevard and have not yet sold out Flamingo, we have 19,600 HGVC and 5250 bHC annually. No way to use all of that :)

Cheers.

Take more vacations! We use over 60k HGVC points annually for stays. Can't beat staying at HHV for a month in a 2br unit. It is a rough life :)

Since we also own MVC and still FT, just not enough vacation time. Hopefully in 20yrs, I will be released from the dreaded school schedule

As soon as we're done with those pesky day jobs we can do this. However, with the need to fly 100K or so miles a year, we have to take enough trips and not all of them can be too long given that there are only 365 or so days in a year.

Plus, we really like home. And being away for a month is not our thing. Couple weeks, maybe.

Cheers.

Sometimes, there's more to life than Hilton. o_O Sacrilege!
This Summer, we'll spend 3 weeks in Europe...
But only 1N in a Hilton-property - Munich Airport Hotel.

Although we have 2 stays booked otherwise, we'll be banking points.

Totally agreed. So far this year we have been to HGVC, Marriott Vaction Club and Disney Vacation Club.

We actually ;love Hiltons for European travel and stay in them almost exclusively. We are very well treated in terms of room upgrades, lovely breakfast and Executive Lounges.

Cheers.

There may be great Hiltons in Europe, but for our purposes, they didn't work out.
I nearly booked 'em in Vienna & Budapest, but went "local" for better locations.

The one in Vienna was OK, but the one in Budapest has an absolutely amazing view. On a hilltop in Buda overlooking the Danube and Pest. This was one of our favorites.

But there are certainly other places to stay :)

Cheers.

The Hilton in Budapest is amazing. It is built around ancient Roman ruins. We will be spending 5 days at the Hilton Rome Cavalieri in August 2020 on a HHONORS redemption prior to a 9 day Greek Island Cruise via an HGVC redemption.

I was tempted, But we're meeting up with a stepson + his G/F (who's Hungarian).
She's our personal guide+translator, so we found a 4* hotel that's close to them.
Besides, Pest is where it's "happening."

And I believe that. On our trip we did not get a chance to go to Pest (our typical 2.5 day trip) and now Hungary is quite an unsafe place to go (for our tastes) so this will have to wait a bit. We don't have a local to help :)

Cheers.
