i just bought SDO resale 1prem EY
- is there a way to get the people I bought from to "gift" the SVN "staroptions" to me?
If I was related to them - their son - it could be done I think I read that somewhere - Is there a way to beat the system?
It may be too late - I just closed and all was transfered.
Maybe I'm a relative?
thoughts?

Somewhere in "the rules", I remember reading that StarOptions/Starpoints could only be transferred to immediate family members. I don't remember where, but I believe it was in part of the sales documents I signed on a developer sales contract.

I believe this only works if you inherit the TS...

Ah, yes... I remember back when I was new to timeshares and optimistic. Well... you could get adopted by the seller! :hysterical:

Gordo, we know that Starwood monitors these boards, so if you're planning on trying to defraud them (e.g. by feigning a relationship that doesn't exist), discussing it on a public msg board is a bad idea.

You knew that SDO wasn't going to be granted SO's, so my advice is to leverage it for all its worth on II. You can currently get into all the resorts (except perhaps WSJ) via II if you're willing to travel during shoulder seasons.

I own at SDO too, and no way would I join the SVN with it, even if I could. Your fees will go up and Starwood will control what week you deposit with II. You will get a lot more out of your SDO week as a II trader.

alright, alright, alright....I will just enjoy my SDO reslae as planned!
Actually they are very nice when I have called in to speak with them.
I was just looking for that legal loophole in the system. None exist! Life is good!
