With the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic fast approaching, interest is building all over the world for this historic occasion. Both of our Cruises enable descendants of Titanic passengers, enthusiasts and cruise passengers to be part of history by being together at the site where the Titanic sank on its Maiden and fateful voyage, to pay their respects at a special Memorial Service to take place at the exact time the Titanic sank 100 years before.

Terribly morbid... But perhaps you're on to something.
Ship sinkings, plane crashes, train wrecks, NASCAR pile-ups.
It could spawn a whole new genre of tourism -- mega-death tours.

I think Mega Death was an 80's metal band!

I'm going to be in Ireland during some of the 100th anniversary events and am looking forward to learning more about Titanic, those who survived and those who lost their lives in the tragic first sailing.

At first I thought these cruises were morbid as well but then got to thinking about the families of those who died there. Perhaps it is a way to have some special memorialized tribute. That I think would be honorable.

For those who are ghoulish enough to just want to go, for some other reason, I suppose it is their money (and right) but it just doesn't seem right to me.

It doesn't surprise me, however, that someone found a special niche this year to try to capitalize on what truly will be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
