Periodically we receive a mailing from a company called BayTree Solutions (Atlanta, GA), inquiring whether we are interested in selling (!) our timeshare ownership at one of the BlueGreen timeshare properties that we own. Has anyone utilized BayTree for a timeshare sale, and what has been your experience?

I haven't used them but my understanding is that they charge thousands to list and looking at their site, 95% are way overpriced and never sell.

Run away from paying them to list your timeshare. If you want to buy something listed there, proceed with caution, thought, and factoring high closing costs into your offer.

I long negotiated to buy a prime summer Colonies Williamsburg week that was listed with them. After reaching an agreement in principle with the seller, I received the estoppel and discovered it was EOY. Most sellers there in my experience have little idea what they own and how low the value of their ownership actually is.

They appear to have a very similar model to SMTN.

After it fell through, the guy trying to sell it told me "I have learned a lot going through this process." I suggested in an email that he check out TUG .... and my though was I have learned a heck of a lot more on TUG. You can do it for free on TUG, but will want to pay to be a member.
