I just reserved a last minute 1 bedroom unit. I know that the 1 bedrooms are parking lot views. Does anyone have a unit number that they request? I found a thread with information, but I'm not sure how to delete my question.

I think you would have better luck requesting a building and floor rather than the actual unit number, given as you say all the one bedroom units are on the front of the buildings. First floor one bedrooms are the worst IMO, not much privacy. Second or third floor is much better.

Depending on where you want to be near, buildings 3 and 4 are next to the main pool and snack bar, also the shuttle stop. There is a nice hot tub behind building 3 for a Kona sunset soak.

We like building 9 next to the smaller pool, it's not as busy and the aqua aerobics is at that pool in the mornings, I enjoy those sessions. The shuttle stop is there at the pool also. I used to own a one bedroom titled in that building, 928, and it was on the corner near the pool, second floor. If I didn't put in a request I was always assigned that unit.

We were in building 3 earlier this summer and there is a water feature that helps create some white noise/ambiance that was pleasant and separated it from the parking lot. We were not on the 1st floor, so I can't speak to the experience, but that was my observation.
