I am considering purchasing a timeshare from a company who sells timeshares, not an individual or the timeshare owner company. I would like a timeshare on the Florida Panhandle or around Miami or the Grand Cayman Islands.

I am currently considering the Bay Club of Sandestin but I have found very few reviews of this timeshare. Has anyone been to this timeshare or own this timeshare that would share some information with me?

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for other timeshares on the FLorida Panhandle, Miami, or the Grand Caymans?

Thanks for your input in advance!::confused:

We own a 1 bedroom unit there during prime time- week 27 which is normally over 4th of July. We like the resort, but there are some drawbacks too. First- it's not on the beach; It's across the street on the Bay side. There is beach access and a lot to park in, but unless you are there early, it's quite a hall from the car to the water. They also have buses, but we bring so much stuff we really have to use the car. Second, we used to have beautiful views of the bay....now we have a view of another building. The pool is only so so. The room itself is decent, but gets cramped if there are kids on the sofa bed. There is an on site "boardwalk" which is a lot of fun.
