We put in a tile shower and thought that it would look nice to put the same 16" x 16" tiles on the floor as the walls. It looks nice, but it is very slippery. Guess that was not a good idea.

I have asked a few tile installers about taking it out and putting different tile in, but they say the copper shower pan needs to be replaced. That makes it very expensive. The shower is a custom size, and we need a custom pan.

Are there any types of material that we can apply to a smooth tile to make it non-skid? Has anyone bought something at Home Depot that works?
