Hello - considering visiting (and perhaps purchasing) a Barony garden view unit in HHI but wondering if the kid-friendly pool in the garden view area will be open in April (we would be visiting Easter week). We have a 10 year old so the pool sounds great, but if it's not open it would be torture for him to see the slide but be unable to use it... Any experiences as to that pool being open in the spring?

When they rebuilt that pool a few years back I believe that put a heater in it. I see no reason why it wouldn't be open in that timeframe but maybe SueDonJ can confirm it.

It should be open. Just call the resort. Simple process and easier than getting information from folks who may or may not know the answer/

We’re usually there the last 2 weeks in March. The pool is heated and there are kids in there no matter how cool it is outside. As I recall the slide isn’t open at least when it’s cool. May be different in April. It is manned by at least one employee.

We will be arriving this Friday for our 2 weeks this year.

The pool will be open. They installed a heater a few years ago. The original rebuild did not include a heater. I believe Some of the work to accommodate a heater was included.

i would expect limited hours for the slide and may not open the slide depending on weather. We have stayed multiple times in spring prior to the heater and I would not use the pool. Even into May it was cold. I was very vocal about a heater and very pleased when it happened. I believe only the ocean front pool is unheated at Barony.
