Here at Barony this week. We are staying in the Morning Glory unit with a great view. I must say I am very impressed with the renovations done here. Very sleek and contemporary. Lots of activities offered and the staff is wonderful!:)

We have enjoyed our last 2 HHI stays at Barony and agree it is a great property. We have also stayed at Monarch and despite it being one of (if not) the oldest MVCI property had a great time exploring Sea Pines Plantation by bike all week. Don't think we'll ever get to all of the HHI Marriott resorts, but next up will be Grande Ocean in March for Spring Break. Then maybe Surfwatch? Decisions, Decisions.

Monarch was indeed the original MVCI property, but was not built by Marriott. That honor goes to Sabal Palms. We like both of them very much. Newer is not always better.

We stayed at Monarch this past Easter. The grandkids loved it! Plenty of activities for them. I have found each Marriott to be unique in it's own way and never disappointing.
