Hi there - just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for car rentals in Barbados. Going in a few weeks and looking for one week car rental from the airport.

Much appreciated

I recall when we went back in 2018, we rented from one of the major brands. Though they are really just a franchisee in the Caribbean and Mexico. No real issues but realize that you will be driving on the left with a right hand drive vehicle. It takes about a day to get used to. Perhaps stay off the one major roadway (highway) until you get used to it.

and don't forget about the roundabouts! They could be tricky to navigate

Yes, they take a bit to get used to. They also have these on their big highway, which is more challenging when there are a lot of cars.

We often travel to Barbados and use MAH Car Rentals, a family owned company that have been in business for quite some time. The definitely have automatic cars.
All car rental companies in Barbados will deliver your rental to the airport or wherever you are staying.

Thanks all. These are some good recommendations. I'll check them out to see which ones would work for us. I've also been watching some You Tube videos on driving on the left side but I'll take it easy. There seems to be some tricky roundabouts but I'm used to them from the right side. Anyway, appreciate you assistance.
