we have flooding throughout the region, Wisconsin Dells and surrounding counties and down to Madison. Last night we had about six inches and tornado warnings. Today, We had seven to eleven inches of rain and more tornado warnings. The back entrance to Christmas mountain is washed out, clubhouse, activity building, golf course closed. Hwy H and 13 are flooded, no power, no traffic lights in Dells. Lots of roads closed and washed out. A car drove into the water at the Merrimac ferry and one person missing. The Ducks are out in neighboring towns helping rescue people from flooded neighborhoods. There was flooding in Madison last week and even Lambert Field is flooded. The interstate was closed north of Dells.

Wow, crazy weather, such extremes everywhere! That system is now moving into Ontario. We had a F1 tornado (strong & unusual for these parts) pass within a few miles of us last evening and now we are under a severe thunderstorm warning with tornado watch tonight. At least last nights was in daylight so folks could see it coming. The worst of tonight's storm is expected to start around 1am local.

Stay safe!

Crazy weather! Those storms passed just to the north of us last night! We love in Mid Michigan. We got lucky.

Hopefully everybody made it out in one piece!

I read that one person lost their life last night when they drove into Lake Wisconsin where the car ferry crosses from Columbia County to Sauk County. According to the passenger in the car, the driver thought the ferry ramp was the road and drove into the lake. I can understand if he was using GPS my older GPS shows the "road" between St. Thomas and St. John when we are on the car ferry. I haven't paid any attention when I am on the Merrimac Ferry if the "road" is on the screen. Both occupants of the car made it out but the driver wasn't able to swim to shore. :(

Yes what a tragedy. You couldn’t see a few feet ahead of you

Reedsburg and other towns to the west are badly flooded. They had the hundred year flood in 08 and are having it again.
