So I was curious as to seeing what average rental costs go for in High Weeks at Summit at Massanutten. Especially for the weeks of Thanksgiving and then the last two weeks of the year. I was looking to check Redweek and TUG Marketplace but I'm sure COVID is currently effecting listings as there really aren't any listed to get a good "estimate". What are some other resources available that I am probably missing?

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
Renting is terrible this year. Thanksgiving is normally not the best week to rent. Usually the best weeks are the 2 weeks that include Christmas and New Year (usually weeks 51 and 52 but occasionally 52 and 53) and summer weeks late June through early August. It was in the $550-$650 range before Massanutten added the resort fees 3 years back. MF have gone up and with the fees people still don't want to pay much more than $550-$650 total per 2br unit and that is after paying the $70ish owner rate of resort fees. So $480-$580

You also typically have to wait until RCI has either sold all their extra vacations or last calls that might be available.

Last year during Covid I rented a summer week to someone for 900. It was a 4br summit. I posted on Facebook marketplace. I didn't mention timeshare in the listing since it seems to deter some people. It's a shame because the size of the unit would normally cost someone 2k to rent a similarly sized house in the area. The word timeshare really deters people.
