So it seems Autoslash is keeping its eye on things. In recent days I've received lower price discounts on two of my three upcoming reservations, (one reservation lowered twice), for my trip to Hawaii next Summer. I've booked the new rate, cancelled the old reservations, and asked Autoslash to keep watching. So far, so good. I'm still checking my go-to sites (Costco and Discount Hawaii), but everything is registered with Autoslash, too. We'll see how it works out, going forward. Fingers crossed.

Our rental for California next month came down again. :) The rental is still with Alamo, they must keep dropping their rates.

Oddly enough, mine in Hawaii are coming through with Hertz, which I've always felt was higher priced than either Alamo or Budget. we'll see how it all works out in the end.

I did call Costco Travel the other day to ask if they expected to be getting 2020 discount coupons in place mid-December, as they have most years. The person I spoke with was pretty unhelpful, basically quoting the "keep checking and make a new reservation if the price drops" rhetoric. Like, DUH! I've done that for years. I was asking a specific question. After about the third time around, I was told, "The rates we have at time of booking are s low as we know of. But things could change. Keep checking back." Yeah, ok. Fine.

I'm just surprised to see Costco in Hawaii have rental rates so much higher than other name-brand companies. So we'll see how it plays out. :)

Booked Costco. Tracked on Autoslash. Within 30 minutes Autoslash came back with an offer with same company. Total Savings so far $100. Includes free Costco driver on Autoslash.

Over 3 years other sites have been striking out after I track with Autoslash.

FYI- with Autoslash each time they reduce/quite you a price, you have to go back on line to set for them to keep monitoring your rate. I had to do this 3x for our last trip and the original price was greatly reduced.

But just so you know- they no longer just automatically keep monitoring your rate once they quote you.
Good to know! I had been wondering if they had changed that recently. I've been using Autoslash for years. Such a great tool.
