Atlantis check in. Flying in a day later!

Hi, we are going to Atlantis Harborside for the first time in 13 days! We are scheduled coming in on Thurs but our flight is on Fri. We get to the Bahamas at noon on Fri. Do you think we can check in asap as our reservation started the day before or will they make us wait until 4? Also we were just going to grab a taxi at the airport. Should we book with someone that will stop at a grocery store on way to Harborside or just wing it! Any suggestions are appreciated!

You should be able to check in as soon as you arrive, but be sure you let them know in advance, that you will be checking in a day late.

I would add the info. to the reservation notes, which you can do online, and I'd also call the front desk directly.

On the Starwood website, log into your Acct., and find the reservation, click on the drop down menu and choose special requests. Scroll down and click OTHER, then put your message in the message box, and click send.

In my experience all taxis would stop at a store for a small extra charge, talk to them before you get in the taxi so you know what the charge is. I would suggest stoping on your way since you should be able to check in right when you get there. I have reserved with companies that have good ratings online and have not had a better experience than the regular taxis. YMMV.
