So I figured I would provide an update on this... it's gone. I no longer own it
I own at flagship, can I ask how you got rid of it? I am up to date on maintenance fees and have owned outright for awhile now. They won't take it back and my husband can no longer travel due to health issues.

I will preface this by saying that this is not legal advice and that I am not qualified nor willing to provide such advice under any condition and any action that you take relating to the below should only be performed after consultation with a properly qualified attorney.

So the joys of timeshares of which I will no longer partake nor talk favorably of is that those that are written with rights of survivorship are, in essence, literal perpetual expenses that could easily become albatrosses for your family for generations until someone, sometime, renounces the property before time expires after death or rids themselves in another way (or the property goes belly up).

Well, my method concluded with a deed in lieu on my credit report for the foreseeable future. Not sure if you're willing to have that on the credit report but if you own it that path should be relatively straight forward.

Assuming you have a deeded "property" the only real way that I am aware they can gain a judgement for any recompense is if they pursue foreclosure actions against you. The only way that I am aware they will pursue this action is if you stop paying them.
