Aruba Surf Club--How can I tell what kind of unit I have?

I own a Garden Plat. week at Surf club--I reserved Easter week '09 and then traded it for Feb. 7-14, 2009. On the confirmation from II it doesn't say what kind of unit it is--OV, GV etc. I am thinking of renting the week on Redweek, but don't want to list the wrong type of week. Is there anything on the confirmation that would lead me to know what kind of view I have, or would II tell me if I called them?
Thanks.

You can look up the reservation in Marriotts reservation sytem using the reservation number on the confirmation certificate. However II rules prohibit you from renting this week out.

So what if II finds out you rented the week?

For starters, your II account will be suspended and you could lose any deposited weeks you have. Most importantly, II might well cancel the exchange week, leaving your renter with no place to stay when trying to check in. And that would leave you in one heck of a legal mess!

Here's a repost from Dave:

Uh....

Renting any week that you get from II violates II's Membership Terms & Conditions. The risk is that you'll be found out, your account suspended, any deposited weeks forfeited and the reserved AC week canceled. Worse, if your renter shows up to check in and finds the week canceled, you'll be in one heck of a legal mess.

There have been reports here at TUG, including one within the last several weeks, of people having their account suspended for actual or suspected renting of weeks obtained from II (and similarly from RCI).

Lol too fast for me Dave....

I'm confused now

I exchanged the week with II. I was just hospitalized last week and due to some issues, I don't think I will be going anywhere in February. Can I give it to a relative by purchasing a gift certificate?
If not, what are my options?
I also have an AC week that expires on April 10, 2009. Am I allowed to purchase a gift certificate for that week for someone?

Yes, you may purchase guest certificates for both the AC and the trade into Surf Club. You are not allowed to rent those weeks for a profit but you may certainly give them as a gift.
