Does anyone know about the "Aruba King" on Redweek? He seems to have multiple listings for Aruba Surf club (and possible Ocean club) and seems to be driving prices lower? He has a LOT of listings for rentals. Thanks for any feedback.
I didn't see where OP said they were trying to rent there. From the post I would think they were listing similar weeks and were concerned about price deflation.
There are apparently a couple of people who own multiple (10+) units in Aruba, solely for the purposes of using them for rental (including during high demand peak periods), thus limiting available inventory for other weeks owners and particularly Destinations Program owners.

I thought the traditional weeks were in a separate pool from the DP? The only way that these weeks units would get into DP is if a points election was made on them?
Isn't there a clause in the TS contracts that prohibits commercial renting?

There is. There are quite a few owners who own 20+ weeks and they do use it as a business. Marriott is supposedly cracking down on them. Very few Ocean Club owners use DP. These owners who use their weeks as a business have made it so other owners have trouble getting reservations!
I’ve never heard of king Aruba before but in his ads it says “our team of industry experts...” perhaps he’s a broker rather than a single owner with a lot of weeks. There are also ads by Concierge Realty and others who rent for owners.

They have the same ability to reserve their weeks as any other owner. Not sure how they are doing anything improper. Lots of people own multiple weeks to reserve high demand times. Renting them out (or not)doesn't change anything.
One of the Aruba resorts / the BOD responded a few years ago to very large number of weeks being rented out and as a result did take action against a very few people.
The terminology in the MVC contracts for weeks owners is open to interpretation, but does allow them to prevent owners running a “commercial“ business.
it is highly unlikely though that they would be concerned about owners renting out a week or two sometimes and this option was actually promoted as one of the benefits when purchasing.
From KingAruba’s website, it seems as though they could just be Brokers renting out weeks of individual owners, but it is not totally clear whether they actually own many weeks themselves.
While we've not tried to rent out any of our properties, we do look at Redweek for friends. My interest in these large scale owners/brokers is that we've seen a larger number of people at the Surf Club that don't seem to treat the property very well. Leaving trash around the lazy river, bringing monstrous floats-making it tougher for the wonderful staff there that have to intervene. I realize that many of these offenders may be owners but when we strike up a conversation with other guests, we don't seem to find as many owners there anymore-lots of folks have rented from Redweek. Its becoming more hotel-like, rather than a vacation "club."
How do multiple week owners impact availability? I get that if you have 2 weeks you can book earlier than someone that owns 1 week but other than that... If 100 people (or 1 owner with 100 weeks) books December 01-08 than that leaves all the other 50 weeks available for the other owners, correct? Popular weeks are going to booked by owners, that is the issue/advantage with floating vs fixed week ownerships.
Just my recent observations, First time to Aruba and rented off redweek from a 15+ week owner:
In regards to trash at lazy river, I did not notice any trash during the 14 days there in early December. I would say majority of people there were owners or with owners. There was a monstrous float, but it was from an owner that had been going for 15+ years there.
An owner there has no direct impact on DP inventory and the indirect impact is that they didn't elect points so those weeks didn't go into inventory. The might however be able to use the 13 month reservation window and get the weeks pushing DP into other weeks since Marriott only opens up the season to DP owners and doesn't limit to the weeks owned. This will skew the availability away from the higher demand weeks at resort with a significant variability within a season. But DP owners who can reserve at 13 months out will potentially skew availability the other way in some cases as well.
