On Aruba Govt websites it states that Aruba Visitors Insurance (insurance in case you contract COVID there) is no longer mandatory, but recommended. In the Marriott Aruba Ocean Club welcome email for my up-coming trip it states the insurance is mandatory. Can anyone clarify for me? Thank you in advance.

Hi,
I was there for 2 weeks 6/26-7/10 and yes it was mandatory. Enjoy your trip.

The only requirement to enter Aruba is you must fill out the online ED card application up to 7 days prior to your arrival.
