Article of interest to Grandview owners/exchangers in Las Vegas

The South Point is our favorite local casino because it's near our neighborhood & offers so many interesting things to see or do. We don't gamble but
we go there probably every week for either a show in the showroom or a movie or anything else that catches our attention. Plus, there are a lot
of good food options--our most recent was an amazingly huge pastrami sandwich that was enough for two people at the Del Mar Deli by the sports book.
We're going to a show tonight in the showroom (Frankie Moreno) and also to a show Saturday night, which is a Beach Boys tribute. There's also the largest indoor archery tournament in the world with 3,700 competitors there this weekend that we'll probably watch at some point.

Whenever you have a stay at the Grandview booked, check to see what's going on next door--might be something you'd enjoy!

We liked the access to the Southpoint Casino from Grandview. We were able to catch a movie and because it was Tuesday night our ticket and popcorn was a bargain too.

Also, if you get a free players card and you're at least 50 yrs. old, you can go to a movie Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday for $4.

I am assuming you can get this if you are not staying at Grandview? Might be worth a drive off the strip for the discount because parking is free too.

I think it's available to anyone. The Tuesday deal they advertise is $5.25.

South Point has been my favorite for years. Great restaurants and friendly personnel. Their steakhouse is excellent and far less expensive than a Strip steakhouse. Anyone going there should try the French Onion Soup. It's the best.

The Grandview is our favourite timeshare in LV. We stay there whenever we travel to Nevada. Twice, we have invited friends to join us in a two-bedroom lock-off, and they were thrilled.
We love the proximity of the South Point, and the abundance of food choices. The casino is spacious and seems quiet, even when crowded. I love the fact that if one of us has finished gambling, the other is free to stay longer, since it is a 2minute walk back to our unit.

I'm a Vegas local and the South Point is one of my favorite casinos as well (Red Rock is the other). Their poker room has friendly dealers, inexpensive tournaments ($60 multiple times per day), good comps ($2/hour), and a good mix of tourists and locals, between all of the conventions and shows they host.
