Arriving after check-in day at MGR

We have a reservation at MGR for 11/19 check in, but we do not arrive in Orlando until 11/22. Does anyone have any experience with this resort with regard to checking in AFTER the first day of the reservation?

There is an 11/22 check in available today, and I could do an Eplus trade, but I only have one left and am hoping for a last minute miracle of something opening up at Lakeshore Reserve (although, not sure why, I've never been to either, just believe this is a better resort for some reason)

Thanks!

It's not a problem. They won't give away your room like a hotel would. I'd just give them a ring so they make a note on the reservation that you will be arriving late. If you haven't been to either place, I'd go ahead with the eplus if you are able to stay the extra couple days at the end.

thank you. Not able to stay longer, but I have a friend in Orlando that might be able to use those extra nights. I might just leave it as is for now.

Whenever I would not be checking in on the assigned date I would call the Resort the morning I was scheduled to check in and ask them to mark their records to show I called and when I would be arriving. I always tried to call before 10 am (time at the Resort). Did it many times and never had a problem.
