We don't even get one in the mail - guess I need to contact someone at Marriott and see if we can get on the mailing list.

Dave, did you say you can sign up for an email copy and also any MVCI announcements via email.

I see I missed "Gift of Time" weeks at our Marriott Resorts last year. Guess we are not on anyone's mailing list except for Maint fees.

It is a real pet peeve of mind. The MCVI acct is in my husband's name only with his Marriott Rewards number and he does nothing. You know, guys, the male thing still reins supreme. I tried to have it changed, but no success.
Whatever.

What is Shared Times?

when we bought at Waiohai, we wanted it in my wife's name yet all the papers came from the back office in my name. They couldn't handle a woman being the buyer.

Okay, we need to move MR. Marriott into current times - glad I was not the only one with this problem. It appears once the ink is dryed, it apparently cannot be changed in their automated system. Broken like their reservations system. Bet they don't have problems with their hotel reservation system.

Shared Times is the quarterly newletter for MCVI owners.

Since I had run into the same problem of having my husband's name on accounts and my name not being reconized . . . and I pay all the bill, I've learned to put my name first on all applications. Most applications list borrower and co-borrower. The borrower is the person the account reconizes. I did this when we applied for our Marriott timeshare. The mail and bills now come in my name. I also gave them my Marriott Rewards number. We never use my husbands rewards account. This allows all points to accumulate on one account.

I just got the most recent issue and inside the envelope was a general release form to consent to use photos,videos,statements........with no other explanation.

I have not sent anything to Marriott except the II guest satisfaction survey after vacationing.

Anyone else get this in the mail before?

We got ours recently. It's the first time we've gotten one. Anyway, there was the photo release inside, but no information about it, including where exactly to send it. I thought that was kind of odd. Does anyone know where it goes?

We got ours last week with the photo release.

For those of you not get it: Don't waste the postage getting on the mailing list.

In most current issue of shared times they are asking you to send photos of your Marriott vacation either with points or by trade with a description to them and they might publish your story in an issue of shared times.
