Just received an "Special Bill" for my week at Apple Valley Resort at Howard, Ohio. The bill is $208.61 Budget Adjustment Nice-New term for "Special Assessment" due to economy!!!

Maintenance fee is already at $538 + $37 in taxes for 2 bedroom. Will this continue next year or will they just combine fees and make MF total more than $800?

Yikes, that is high. When the economy is so bad, I do not understand why resorts are adding on assessments or raising maintenance fees. We got an increase this year of $45 at barrier Island station. They say they are going to do some major refurbishments.........it's about time. But that is small compared to yours. I'm sorry but I wonder how they figure people can come up with that much extra in this economy.
