Can anyone recommend a jeep tour of the Apache Trail? Does anyone know if we are likely to find discounts on activities such as this in the Scottsdale area by visiting an information center, or perhaps at the Sheraton Desert Oasis where we will be staying? Do they have a concierge at this resort?

Also, has anyone ever been to the Sundown Cookout at the Rawhide Western Town?

Thanks,
Betty

Sheraton Desert Oasis does have a concierge, I'm sure they can point you to tours of the Apache trail. Have fun :)

Rawhide in North Scottsdale recently closed. The new Rawhide is on the far south side of town (I believe it is actually on a reservation). Probably about 45min non-rush hour one way. It is not in a particularly scenic location so I would question the value of the "sundown" dinner.
