Been there
Hi
Im a first time poster, and I registered just to comment on this. I've been to the Marriott on St. Kitts. It's really a beautiful place, one of my favorite resorts. There's a decent number of things to do there, but all pretty typical Caribbean things. Things like snorkelling and enjoying the restaurants and the somewhat random band they bring into the hotel. The staff has always been helpful. I've stayed at the hotel part twice in the last two years, and have bought a timeshare, 2br 1balcony next to the beach. It comes with stainless steel appliances, stone (granite?) countertops, two bathrooms (one has a hot top and a shower, the other has the combo tub and shower) and a handful of plasma or lcd tvs.
Downsides are, its a little far from town or any non-resort affiliated shopping, but the taxis arent too expensive. Town isnt as nice as it could be, but the island has a strong sense of history. If you're looking for jam-packed travel, this may not be the place to go. Heads up: I believe that someone is trying to build a resort in Frigate Bay (where the Marriott is) but I dont know if they'll offer timeshares or if it will affect timeshare values. Bottom line: the Marriott at St. Kitts is one nice place.
I really enjoyed coming to St. Kitts, and the Marriott has the reputation of simply being understood to be the best place to stay on the island.
