We get to WKORV on Saturday, 1/28. Anyone have any beach gear they would like to pass on? We are particularly looking for chairs and umbrellas. Any charity appreciated :)

I am at WKOVR right now. We rented umbrella and two chairs through easytravelhi.com

Recommended through Tripadvisor. $30 per week. High quality equipment. I ordered on-line and paid via paypal. They drop off at your resort and pick up at no charge.

Another option to consider.....

Excellent info - we usually buy chairs at KMart by OGG - this is a great alternative

They require a minimum of $45 for rentals in Ka'anapali :(

I just double checked my paypal invoice. Looks like they are not enforcing the $$ limits.

2 beach chairs and umbrella / 10 days / $36. The chairs are the Tommy Bahama brand. Nice quality. They have two small compartments on the back, one is lined to use as a mini cooler.

suggest to ask at the Bellhop counter - sometimes they have coolers [good for road to hana] left by guests
never asked about chairs but they might have them

One more plug for easytravelhi.com We rented 2 sets of beach chairs and umbrellas for our week at WKORV. They were waiting for us when we arrived and we were very pleased with the quality. The first day we noticed that one of the umbrellas worked better in the wind. It had augers on the stem and a big plastic "screw" type pole so it stayed put better. We left a message asking if we could exchange the one umbrella. We never got a call back but the next day the concierge called to say that a new umbrella was waiting for us. As said before, the quality of the equipment was excellent and we'll rent from them again on our next trip. I saw several people walking around with the Tommy Bahama chairs and wondered if they'd also rented from easytravelhi.com

Could have been David and me and our wives. I'm so satisfied I extended for week 2 of our stay and our arriving guests joined in my extension by renting David's equipment as he left WKORV.

Just one call. Never had to get new chairs and umbrellas. Just switched the credit card billing number. Easy Travel is easy to do business with, IMO. ... eom

These guys have a nice secret stash of things people donate when they check out. Chairs, coolers, boogie boards, etc. I was amazed at the stash they showed me when I gave them a nice tip for valet parking! One day we bought some beach toys and asked the guys to help us get everything from the car up to our room. They said "take this stuff back, we have all of this right here!". AWESOME!

Ask the valet guys!

Ask the valet guys if there are any left over gear. People leave their stuff all the time and it all ends up in a little area that the valet guys directed us to. We got 2 masks, a set of fins, some sand toys, and a body board.

Remember to tip! :)
